Real-Time Firmware with FreeRTOS on STM32

₹2,119

Build multitasking firmware with tasks, queues, semaphores, and STM32 peripheral integration.

FreeRTOS is the real-time kernel most STM32 product teams reach for when a while-loop firmware no longer scales. This course is iLabTek’s guided path from “I know GPIO” to a multitasking application that uses tasks, queues, semaphores, and mutexes on STM32 HAL.

You will see why priorities matter, how a blocked task yields the CPU, and how a UART ISR should post to a queue instead of doing work in the interrupt. Labs include a producer–consumer pattern, a software timer, and a concurrency bug that looks random until you learn to catch it.

Training is delivered on the LMS after online payment. Recorded lessons cover RTOS concepts first, then STM32CubeIDE integration. Email support is included for the access period. Optional live sessions and Noida classroom slots are announced to active batches.

The free tutorial on this site — Getting Started with RTOS — is a preview. The paid course adds structured labs, a capstone multitasking brief, and a completion certificate that hiring managers can verify against your project write-up.

Pair this course with an STM32 Nucleo from the shop if you do not already have a board. Career-path students often take Embedded Core or Embedded Beginner · RTOS after this workshop when they want a longer, certificate-backed program.

What you will learn

  • Create and schedule FreeRTOS tasks with correct priorities
  • Pass data with queues and protect shared resources with mutexes
  • Integrate STM32 HAL peripherals without blocking the idle task forever
  • Debug priority inversion and stack-overflow class bugs
  • Ship a small multitasking firmware project for your portfolio

Syllabus

  • RTOS concepts
  • Tasks & priorities
  • Queues / semaphores / mutexes
  • STM32 HAL + FreeRTOS
  • Debugging concurrency bugs

Who it is for: Developers building multi-threaded embedded products.

Mode: Online self-paced with optional live sessions in Noida

Location: iLabTek classroom, Sector 153, Noida (and LMS online)

Course FAQs

Is the FreeRTOS course only for STM32?

Labs are taught on STM32 because CubeIDE plus HAL is the most common campus and industry combo. The RTOS ideas transfer to ESP32 and other Cortex-M ports.

Can working professionals take this RTOS training online?

Yes. It is self-paced. You can start any week, use evening hours, and email questions to info@ilabtek.in. Live sessions are optional.
