Microcontroller Architecture Lab: ARM Cortex-M4 Essentials
₹2,119
Memory maps, NVIC, registers, and bare-metal programming on ARM Cortex-M4 targets.
ARM Cortex-M4 is the microcontroller architecture behind a large share of STM32, NXP, and TI boards used in Indian product companies and college labs. This iLabTek course teaches the programmer model, memory map, NVIC interrupts, and the first bare-metal bring-up steps that firmware interviews keep asking for.
You start from registers and the vector table, then move to GPIO and UART labs on a Cortex-M4 target. The goal is not slide theory. You will read a datasheet section, write a small driver-style program, flash it, and debug why a pin or interrupt did not fire. That workflow is what junior firmware roles expect in Noida, Bengaluru, and Pune.
The course is self-paced on the iLabTek LMS. After Razorpay payment you get video lessons, lab worksheets, and email support. Live doubt sessions are scheduled when a batch has enrolled. Classroom access in Sector 153, Noida is available for selected labs and demo days.
Students who finish this track usually continue into FreeRTOS on STM32 or the Embedded Core package. Hardware from the iLabTek shop — Nucleo boards, USB cables, and basic sensors — matches the labs, so institutions can buy kits and licenses together.
On successful completion you receive an iLabTek Course Completion Certificate. Faculty and college coordinators can request bulk seats from the institutions desk with a GST invoice.
What you will learn
- Explain the Cortex-M4 register set, stack, and exception model
- Map peripherals from a vendor memory map and use MMIO safely
- Configure NVIC priorities and write a first interrupt service routine
- Build, flash, and debug a bare-metal GPIO / UART lab
- Read a datasheet section and turn it into working C

Course FAQs
Do I need an STM32 board for ARM Cortex-M4 training?
A Cortex-M4 Nucleo or Discovery-class board is recommended for the labs. You can follow the first modules with only the LMS videos, then complete the flash-and-debug exercises on hardware.
Is this ARM training available online from Noida?
Yes. The course is self-paced online. iLabTek is based in Sector 153, Noida and offers optional live sessions plus classroom labs for enrolled batches.
