Principals ask “what does an Atal Tinkering Lab cost?” when a grant letter arrives or the board asks for a numbered proposal. iLabTek prices four AIM-aligned packages from the official setup sheet, or one complete lab. The numbers below are the equipment prices used on the ATL setup page and in the shop. GST is extra. Freight for full lab crates is confirmed on the school purchase order — it is not hidden inside a lakh-range estimate.
Setup-sheet prices (ex-freight)

- Package 2 — Rapid prototyping / 3D printing: ₹33,496
- Package 3 — Mechanical, electrical and measurement tools: ₹66,545
- Package 4 — Power, accessories and safety: ₹9,417
- Complete Atal Tinkering Lab (P1–P4): ₹1,35,078
Those four packages add to the complete-lab price. You can buy one kit to top up an existing AIM room, or the full set if the school is starting from empty benches.
What is not in the kit price
Room furniture, extra 3D capacity, extra consumables, and extra teacher-training days are quoted separately. A 3–6 month senior-school internship in Noida is an add-on, not part of the ATL crate. Older brochures that listed “₹2.5–3.5 lakh per package” were indicative ranges; the live sheet is the one above.
How a school should budget
Write the equipment line as ₹1,35,078 (or the packages you actually need). Add GST as applicable. Add a freight line after we weigh the crates for your city. If the grant also covers teacher orientation, say so on the PO — we can put that workshop on the same GST invoice. For a CBSE school in Noida or Greater Noida, that is usually enough for the purchase committee.
