An AI period fails when the school buys laptops and no lesson plans. iLab School treats an AI lab setup for schools as platforms plus kits plus a teacher workshop.
Grades 6–8
Block coding, simple logic, and a first sensor-to-screen project on a classroom MCU or Pi. The goal is that every pair finishes something they can explain in ten minutes — the same session arc used in robotics periods.
Grades 9–12
Introductory Python or structured coding, a small chatbot or classification demo, and a computer-vision lab on a Raspberry Pi or MCU camera kit. This is not a college ML course. It is a school AI classroom that fits NEP 2020 “computational thinking” without promising placements.
What the school must provide
A room with power, a projector or TV, and a locked cupboard. iLabTek supplies kits, platform access mapped to those grades, and faculty orientation. Certificates are available for workshop batches that finish a track.
Mix this classroom with a robotics lab if you want vision-controlled robots on the same PO. Quote from Noida: institutional form.
